Lessons

One to one lessons are 1 hour in length in a professional studio environment. 1/2 hour lessons are also available (see pricing for details). For new students you can book a free 1/2 hour taster lesson to see if the tuition suits you or you can discuss any course options you are interested in.
For the one to one lessons students are required to bring their own guitar and an A4 notepad to the lessons. If you do not have your own guitar you may use one of ours (right-handed) at the lesson but it is recommended you have your own to practice on.

Each one to one lesson is tailored to the student by focusing on their own ability and aspirations which encourages progress and achieves
the best results.

Any ability is welcome from complete beginners to advanced players. All techniques are covered which include picking styles (alternate, economy, sweep, speed, hybrid, finger, travis), legato, whammy, tapping and slide. In addition you will learn how to apply these techniques seamlessly into styles like Rock, Funk, Blues, Country, Pop, Metal, Jazz and more.

As well as learning the guitar you can also learn about getting into the industry, band advice, networking, songwriting, improvisation and music theory.

As well as one to one lessons you can also take your electric guitar grades from preliminary to grade 8. See courses for more details.
